In addition, our therapists regularly attend continuing education courses in advanced modalities.

- Clinical Massage / Deep Tissue / Sports Massage: - Our staff is trained in injury and sports massage techniques. We offer specific and targeted treatments and programs for maximum relief and relaxation of muscle tension.
- Pre-Natal Body Work - Specially trained therapists work their skills for the specific needs of pregnancy, to help relieve muscle strain, and discomfort. Some clients may require a physician's approval for pregnancy massage.
- Myofascial Release - Addresses the soft tissue component of connective tissue that provides support and protection for muscles. Many people find enhanced relief from Myofascial Release in conjunction with regular body work.
- Acupressure Session - Offers very customized muscle work for enhanced relief and healing.

"Spa Foot Therapy" at Uptown Face and Body Care starts with an herbal foot bath, then you recline as we scrub and buff, focusing on the rough areas, and "polishing" the feet. We then pamper you with a targeted foot massage to relieve foot discomfort and promote a deep state of relaxation. We use Natural and Hypoallergenic Massage Lotions & Oils: (Nut-Free and Paraben-Free) If you have a sensitivity to any of these ingredients, please let your therapist know. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Lotion Formula includes: Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba, Sesame Seed, Vitamin-E, and Arnica extract. Our therapists use this formula on most sessions. It leaves a non-greasy finish, and is very nourishing for the skin.
Oil Formulas include Grapeseed Oil - nut free.
